Great Western Woodlands – Elemental Embrace
Medium: Reclaimed glass wine bottles, wood, and metal
Artist: Cindy Poole
Description
Elemental Embrace is the foundation piece of the Woodlands series, created to honour the Great Western Woodlands — one of the world’s most biodiverse temperate ecosystems.
Crafted from reclaimed wine bottles, salvaged wood, and metal, each leaflike form reflects the individuality and interconnectedness of nature.
The subtle green hues and organic contours shift with the light, echoing the woodland’s rhythm and resilience. This piece explores the balance between unity and individuality, as well as the interdependence of earth, light, air, and time.
