Cindy's Elemental Conversations
Glass is my canvas. Light is my brush. Nature is my muse.
Cindy Poole is proud to be part of The Spirit of Kepa Kurl Esperance — a landmark exhibition presented by FORM, celebrating the landscapes, stories, and creativity of Esperance, Western Australia.
This exhibition brings together artists who reflect on the elemental beauty and cultural depth of the region. For Cindy, it is an opportunity to share her ongoing dialogue with nature, light, and transformation through the medium of glass.
Rooted in the raw forces of Esperance, Cindy’s works explore the quiet power of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air, using both fine art glass and reclaimed bottle glass. Each material is not just a medium, but a storyteller — carrying with it histories of use, renewal, and possibility.
Her series in this exhibition invites viewers to reflect on balance, movement, and connection: how natural systems interact, and how humans are both shaped by and shaping these forces in return.
Featured Works
Great Western Woodlands – Elemental Embrace

Crafted from reclaimed wood, metal, and glass wine bottles, this piece pays homage to one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. Each leaflike form carries its own identity yet belongs to a greater collective, echoing the resilience and interconnectedness of nature.
"This work is both a reflection and a call: to notice, to care, and to remember that we, too, are part of the woodland’s embrace.” – Cindy Poole
Elemental Balance
Three fused glass panels represent Fire, Water, and Earth. Standing independently yet in dialogue with one another, they highlight how individuality and unity coexist, connected by the light and air that move between them.
Elemental Orbs
A suspended installation of fused glass orbs and metal. In constant motion, the orbs embody the fragile yet enduring interplay of the four elements, inviting viewers to look upward and reflect on unseen connections.
Sustainability and ReValued Glass
Central to Cindy’s practice is her ReValued Glass initiative — transforming reclaimed bottle glass into art that challenges how we view waste, value, and sustainability. For this exhibition, reclaimed materials sit alongside fine art glass, extending the story of circular creativity and ecological stewardship.
